The best price I can get on the work is $10,800. The general has been priced at $10,100 with the heavy duty tires.
Is the power lift bed and front bumper worth the extra 700 bucks?
If you had it to do all over again, would you add any other options?

I have had my RTV for 3 weeks, and it is great! It is much more solid than my old Kawasaki mule. The dump bed is well powered, and smooth. It climbs over rough ground in 4WD like a goat. I ordered a roof, extra lights and a windshield (cold Oklahoma winters checking on calves in the dark); still on back order, I guess. I pull a single axle 12ft trailer loaded with wire and T posts without a strain or wimper.
Did I mention it is fast? The price was about 11K.
A nice machine with which I am quite pleased. ....

Muletrain: I am glad to hear the RTV will out run a Mule. I thought it was a bit underpowered, with nothing to compare it to... but then I am pushing it up dirt trails over 7000+ foot passes and it is nowhere near broke-in.
BTW, the sales literature sez the trans will downshift automatically to climb hills. Does yours do that? Mine sure doesn't.
Billy, I have already added a windshield and a metal top. Probably get a glovebox next.... some place a bit more secure to keep Mr. S&W tucked away. Also found the HD tires unsuitable for my sandy environment. I know. Big surprise, huh?
I am currently running last years M&S radials from the wifes Camry. Major difference in traction, and it is faster (less down shifting)on up-hill stretches. Latest add-on(two days ago)is a Tiny Tach.
The dump bed is well worth the extra $600-$700 If you go back to add it later it will cost 4 times that much.
If you need more convincing, find a basic unit and raise the bed by hand. Then picture trying to do that with a load on board. If you want the kids or the wife to check the oil before they use it I think it is a must-have.

In the package the dump is a bargin at 1/2 price compared to a later add on. With the season cranking up we are already running out of units not sold so naturally the prices will go up a bit. Kubota has no programs on them and I doubt that there will be any for a while. ....

Art... tell me about the downshift claim. Is it just marketing hype trying to explain the HST? ....
